I am also a wife and homeschooling mother of seven blessings. I set up this blog a year after the sudden death of our firstborn son, Matt, on July 29, 2011 at the age of 16. Matt was in a car accident while on his way to work and died shortly into the Lifeflight to the hospital. The purpose of the blog is to share with others my/our journey through this season of grief. DeleteThank you. As I read a bit more of your blog, I saw that the song Nothing is Wasted came about with you all in mind. My husband and I were at the Called to Love tour concert when we heard it for the first time, shortly after Matt died. Talk about being a mess! But, wow. How God uses our pain and the ugly things of the world to bring glory to Himself and comfort to us and others. The song still ministers greatly to us.
